When a Professional Risk Pays Off: Marshall Fisher’s Story

Strength, determination, and a student mentality. Super Nova Marketing Solutions has built a team based on these values. One of the incredible members of that team is Marshall Fisher. Fisher has been an Account Manager with the team since May of this year and has created quite a name for himself in the office. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, the businessman took a professional risk that landed him right here in Huntsville at the Super Nova office.

How did you first learn about Super Nova Marketing Solutions?

“I was lucky enough to stumble across the opportunity while online job searching on ZipRecruiter.”

How has Super Nova Marketing Solutions helped you in your career development?

“This team has shown me where I should focus my efforts and how to create growth. My work has developed the skills I use to lead and grow every day. I have seen a big change in my perspective on life and work since starting here.”

What do you find to be most challenging in your work?

“Maintaining self-awareness, staying on track in my day to day efforts, and being honest with myself to see where I can improve.”

What have you gained from your work?

“I’ve always wanted to be my own boss; to be in control of my dreams. This opportunity has shown me that I can make that happen and this journey has pushed me to make them come true for myself.”

What has been your proudest moment in your life and in the office?

“The proudest moment in my life was definitely becoming a dad. And so far, the proudest moment in the office is when I got something we call a “suit bonus” for hitting a professional goal. It was pretty awesome getting a $200 suit for doing my job well.”

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

“To be able to speak any and all languages would be pretty awesome.”

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

“I would definitely be cautious of my finances so that I wouldn’t go broke in the first five years. Altogether, I would buy lots of land to grow Christmas trees on, invest in property, and build lots of small businesses in communities that need it. I would try to multiply my winnings threefold in less than ten years, and then build a hospital.”

At what age did you become an adult?

“Maybe twenty. I say maybe because I still don’t think I thought like a real adult until I was twenty-two.”

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?

“Never let the way you feel about where you change what you know you should go for…and don’t shortchange yourself.”

How do you define success?

“Success for me is the story of greatness others tell about you when you’re absent. The love you pour into your family and the rock you are for them in their life. Also, living a life where integrity is at the forefront of everything you do, no matter how hard life may get, that’s what I deem successful.”

What is your favorite thing about working in the sales industry?

“This has been a real opportunity to change my life. I’ve always been a people person and I love that taking care of people is really how you do business.”

Who inspires you?

“Definitely my daughters. I’m inspired to be better every single day for them to see what it is to be a great person. I want them to know the value of this world and not just the cost.”

What are you passionate about?

“Being good to people. I want to grow a business that creates wealth. Taking care of people and giving wealth, both financial and emotional, to their life is how I plan to get there.”

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

“I quit my job making twenty-five dollars an hour, bought a new house, and started this job all in the same month. I took a risk for my success to grow, and I know it’s going to be worth it.”

What business advice would you give to people hoping to start a career?

“Be bold. The most successful people will tell you it takes doing something that no one else wants to do or can do…and always be yourself.”

What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

“I want to be better every day I wake up on this earth. For my family, and for myself. I’m just hungry to turn myself into the person I want to see.”

For all of us here at Super Nova, there is no question as to how far this businessman will go. Marshall Fisher comes into the office each day with a spirit of growth and strength. He inspires everyone on his team to be better than they were before, and our entire team is rooting for him left & right. Management or bust, Marshall. Let’s go!
